**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families. This role involves conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions. The therapist will work closely with clients to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Assessment and Evaluation:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and interviews to gather information about the client’s emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.

2. **Therapeutic Services:**
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, play therapy, DBT).
- Develop and implement treatment goals and interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

3. **Collaboration:**
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to support the client’s treatment and promote positive outcomes.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences as needed.

4. **Documentation and Compliance:**
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in all aspects of practice.

5. **Crisis Intervention:**
- Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients and families in emergency situations.
- Assess and ensure client safety and risk management.

6. **Education and Support:**
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and provide referrals to additional services as necessary.

7. **Professional Development:**
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent therapy.
- Attend training, workshops, and supervision as required.

**Qualifications:**

- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Registered Associate) or eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of developmental psychology and understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
